Marta Masana (Palma, 1992)
Marta Massana is a cartoonist, graphic humorist and animation production assistant. She has published three books, including Mocca Café, and also a collection of comic strips, Vamos nena que te comen la merienda (Planeta, 2019), A slice-of-life comical graphic novel and Instrucciones para dominar el mundo (RBA, 2021).
Marta studied illustration at the School of Design (Balearic Islands) and Art History at the University of the Balearic Islands.
She began her professional career as a comic artist in 2015 by publishing in the satirical magazine El Jueves and the magazine Mongolia. She has also illustrated children’s picture books and is one of the authors of Sextories Magazine an inclusive erotic comic magazine.
She has also worked in animation production collaborating on the film Luck by Skydance Animation Madrid and Lightbox Animation.
